LENAWEE COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION

The Lenawee County Road Commission is responsible for winter maintenance, summer maintenance and roadside brush control for all primary and local roads within Lenawee County. This does not include State Highways or roads within city or village limits. By direction of the Township Boards through contracts with the Road Commission, we service local roads.

Permits

There are different types of permits that are required for citizens to obtain before working on the road Right-of-Way, a driveway or for special hauling.

Policies

The Lenawee County Road Commission has policies addressing the guide lines for when or how certain situations are handled. These guide lines must meet all Federal, State and Local Township requirements for public road safety.
