Permits

The Lenawee County Road Commission offers several types of permits that are required for citizens to obtain before working on road construction projects. Permits offered include Right-of-Way permits, driveway permits, and oversize load permits.

Any entity that is applying for any permit with the Lenawee County Road Commission must use the Oxcart permitting software. Lenawee County Road Commission no longer processes any permits in person.

You can register with Oxcart by visiting their website and completing their sign up process. Oxcart provides the following benefits to registered companies/persons.

In addition to the Lenawee County Road Commission permitting fee, Oxcart requires a processing fee for each transportation permit. Oxcart will also charge a 2.9% credit card fee for each permit processed. In addition, Oxcart charges a $0.30 transaction fee for all transportation permits.
